Our Story
Our flagship Gourmet Garlic Spread traces its roots to Southern California in 1983, when a retail grocery buyer turned restauranteur created a Garlic Spread recipe for use in his own restaurant. After perfecting the recipe over eleven years, he launched a company in 1994 to manufacture and bring his Garlic Spread to wholesale and retail customers throughout the Western U.S. In 2024, the father-and-son team of Matt and Jarret Hamstreet acquired the recipe and relocated the company to their home state of Oregon where they will continue the highest quality standards that have been a hallmark of Gourmet Garlic Spread for over three decades.
